CAPD Statement on the Delay of the Effective Date of the Rebate Rule
Washington, D.C., February 2, 2021 – Today, the Coalition for Affordable Prescription Drugs (CAPD) released the following statement regarding the delay of the effective date of the Rebate Rule.
“CAPD welcomes the Biden Administration’s decision to delay the effective date of the Rebate Rule for one year. This announcement is an important first step towards protecting seniors from Medicare premium increases. Congress and the Administration should now take swift action to rescind the rule entirely.”
